Primary Patient Population:

Pediatric through AdultImmediate post-operative period

Primary skills utilized/learned:

Maintain patient airwayAssess hemodynamic stability and supportMonitor sedation, neurological, neuromuscular, and sensory motor statusProvision of adequate pain and comfort measuresAssess Wound/incision integrityOverall patient assessment

Personnel RN will work with:

OR/ ED/Inpatient RNs, Pre/Post Phase 2 staff, Anesthesia staff, Surgeons, PT, Radiology, Pharmacy

Number of OR Suites/Cases:

26 beds (Bay platform)40-50 surgical cases daily

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of OhioCurrent AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
