Lahey Hospital and Medical Center is now offering up to a $5,000.00 in signing bonuses for our Critical Care RN positions. Critical Care RN position must be licensed with at least one (1) year of RN experience to be eligible for the signing bonus.
Important Details: • Signing Bonuses are paid out in three payments. You will receive your first payment (one third of the total amount) upon completion of the first 30 days of employment. You will receive the second payment upon completion of six (6) months and the third payment (final of the total amount) owe upon completion of one year following your start date. The bonus payments will be paid on the next regular pay day following the date on which you become eligible for the bonus. All payments are subject to applicable taxes. • Full time status at LHMC is considered for the schedules greater than or equal to 30 hours per week; part-time is 20-29 hours per week. Roles less than Full-Time will be prorated. Please note, per diem employees are not eligible for the signing bonus.

• Current and former BILH candidates - restrictions apply. Employees within the BILH system are not eligible for the bonus or if you have been employed by a BILH entity within the last 12-months.
• If you leave Lahey Hospital & Medical Center before your first anniversary you will pay back the signing bonus. • Please note, signing bonuses are subject to change based on the organizations hiring needs and will be determined by Talent Acquisition on an ongoing basis. NEURO PCU:
Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced intensive care (ICU) nurse to join our new Neurosciences Critical Care Unit team. We are looking for a dynamic Registered Nurse who is seeking a role in which they are at the forefront of delivering state of the art Neurocritical Care. As a Registered Nurse in the NCCU, you will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver clinical excellence in patient-centered care, while being empowered through evidence-based practice, continuing education, collaboration, and shared governance to deliver nursing care at the highest level with empathy and kindness in the forefront. Our Neurosciences Critical Care Unit is the newest unit at LHMC and is comprised of 9 Intensive Care and 9 Progressive Care beds.
Lahey Hospital & Medical Center holds a Comprehensive Stroke Center designation and is proudly growing Neurosciences Critical Care within the organization. The NCCU is an acute intensive care unit specializing in the care of acutely ill patients with life threatening neurologic disease or life threatening neurological manifestation of a system disease. Using the latest technologies, nursing staff deliver care to patients requiring ventilatory support, hemodynamic monitoring, ICP monitoring, targeted temperature management, osmotic therapy, continuous renal replacement therapy, in addition to providing support and comfort to the families of these patients.
Requirements:
BSN preferred1 year of experienced in an Acute Care setting and applicants demonstrating a strong interest in the neuroscience specialty are preferred.Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse License.Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.Lifting 75 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbsPreferred:
Critical care experience at an acute care facility.Current America Heart Association ACLS and NIHSS.American Association of Critical Care Nurses Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) and/or Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse certification and/or Certified Stroke Nurse certification(s).36 Hours Day/Night Rotation with an every 3rd weekend commitment and holiday rotation.
