Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN)

Schedule: Days | 7a-7p |36hrs/week
Contract: 13 weeks (highlikely for extension)
Pay: $2506/week
– $35/hr base rate ($70/hr OT)
– $1246 Stipend ($770 housing | $476 meals)
Patient Ratio: 1:5 (flexto 6), 1:4 max on intermediate beds
Charting System: EPIC
Feedback: 24-48hr Clientfeedback on Submission
Job Description:
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated andexperienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-weekcontract in Roanoke Rapids, NC. This position offers a 12-hour Day-Shift with ahigh chance of extension.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit. Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Educate patients and their families on health conditions and post-discharge care.
Qualifications:
Current RN license in the state of North Carolina. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PCU or similar setting. BLS and ACLS certifications required. Strong critical thinking and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
