Desired Start Date Position End Date (if temporary) To ensure full consideration, applications must be received by 11:59pm (MT) on10/27/2024 Description of Work Unit Medical Services The Medical Clinic at the CSU Health Network provides acute and chronic care to CSU students by appointments and on a walk-in basis for urgent concerns. Primary care physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners care for students, with emphasis on preventive care, education, and continuity. The medical staff are supported by a full range of laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, physical therapy, psychiatry, optometry, and nutrition services on site, behavioral health and integrated care with counseling staff enhances the treatment of students with behavioral health concerns. Minor procedures are performed in the clinic. The Medical Clinic provides services between the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday-Friday, providing attractive work schedules for staff. Position Summary The Registered Nurse assists in the delivery of safe health care to university students who present to the CSU Health Network in the Psychiatry Services Clinic. This position will work in the Psychiatry Services clinic as a team nurse who provides medical nursing care for a team of providers. This position must be flexible to cross-train and work in a variety of clinics (acute care, primary care, women and gender care, immunizations, or allergy) as the needs arise to complete patient care, in addition to the primary working location in Psychiatry Services. This position reports directly to the Nurse Manager and works 40 hours per week during the academic year, and does not work during scheduled CSU breaks (fall, winter, spring, and summer). This position may voluntarily work during academic breaks to cover shifts for employees who are on leave or during other clinic events, as requested by the Nurse Manager, not to exceed 40 hours per week. The shift falls between the hours of 7:30-6:00, Monday – Friday, depending on patient variables. The full-time, 12-month (52 weeks) salary is $80,100 – $87,567, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
