All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** Full-Time **Shift** : Days **The community you’ll be caring for:** AdventHealth Palm Coast – 60 Memorial Medical Parkway Palm Coast, Florida 32164 **The role you’ll contribute:** The Radiation Oncology office nurse demonstrated a cancer specific knowledge base and clinical expertise in cancer care to provide nursing care to patients receiving Radiation Therapy under the direction of the physician and/or nurse in compliance with established standards and protocols of the practice and AdventHealth goals and objectives. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** · Provides safe and effective patient care under direction of the physician and/or nurse manager. · Performs diagnostic and therapeutic measures as prescribed by the physician and utilizing guidelines established by AdventHealth. · Schedules patients for procedures, diagnostic testing or specialists, as directed by the physician. · Insert IV access for radiation testing and order stat lab work, as ordered by the physician, during the patient visit. · Preparing charts for evaluation and management visits · Charting radiation induced toxicities · Obtaining ICD 10 · Assist with procedures **The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:** **Minimum qualifications** : + Graduate of an accredited nursing program + Minimum 2 years nursing experience **Preferred qualifications:** · Oncology nursing experience · Oncology Certification · Epic knowledge This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
