DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

This inpatient acute care unit is the largest unit in the hospital. In this patient care area, we have the capability to care for a broad spectrum of patient acuity. Equipped with modern technology, telemonitoring equipment and access to a network for specialists  This unit is well-staffed with ancillary support, management, supervisors and multiple nurse educators & coordinators – on each shift! Multimodal orientation program utilizing latest evidence-based online education programs, interactive classroom lectures, and high-fidelity simulation. The perk of being a Registered Nurse in a smaller, community hospital is that you never get lost in a crowd! Training can be individualized and you have access to leadership on a daily basis. Opportunities to cross-training into specialty roles after 6 months

SCHEDULE:

36 hours a week Three 12-hour shifts a week (7p-730a) Every other weekend and holiday Great differential pay for weekends and holidays!

QUALIFICATIONS: 

MA Registered Nurse License

Nursing Diploma (Associate or Bachelor Degree)

American Heart Association BLS CPR (can be obtained after offer)
