Overview M Health Fairview is looking for a Register Nurse (RN) in our Birthplace at Northland Hospital in Princeton, MN. This position is a 0.6 FTE (48 hours per two weeks) 12 hour shifts on the Night shift with an every third weekend rotation and a holiday rotation. The unit consists of 13 post-partum beds and the Labor & Delivery (L&D) has 5 beds. This hospital sees about 400 births a year! Other information about this position: RN will work L&D, Post-Partum, and Med/Surg This position is located in Princeton, MN Responsibilities Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedure, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate. Assesses patient needs and identifies encouraged nursing outcomes. Develops an individualized nursing plan of care. Implements nursing interventions based on the plan of care. Evaluates care and patient response to interventions and encouraged outcomes. Uses communication strategies to achieve desirable outcomes.
