Inova is seeking experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department to help expand our services in the Eastern Region of Northern Virginia.

We are opening a brand-new state-of-the-art health care facility in Alexandria, VA. Located in the Potomac Yard neighborhood is an outpatient facility that will include a full-service emergency room, ambulatory surgery, imaging services, primary care and other medical offices.

Schedule: Fulltime, Evening shift. Three 12 hr shifts per week (11am – 11pm)

As an Inova Nurse you will:

Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team. Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner. Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.

Requirements: 

Requires a minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.

Strongly prefer 2 years plus of ED RN experience BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 24 months of start date. Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.  BLS certification from the American Heart Association required  Proficient in English. Strong verbal and written communication skills.  Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others  Proficient computer skills required.
