This position is responsible for assessing patient/family health problems and resources and taking a leadership role in the development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a nursing care plan provided by the nursing team. Provides direct nursing care and interventions to designated patient populations. This position requires providing services to one or more age populations, including adolescents through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrates behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Patient Safety and Performance Improvement Plan at Blessing Hospital.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training/Experience:
REQUIRED:
Graduate of an RN School of Nursing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Two (2) years inpatient nursing experience
PREFERRED:
BSN
License/Certifications/Special Requirements:
Possesses current Illinois RN license.
