We Are Hiring: Registered Nurse (RN) - 4SW General Surgery, Women's Health & Pediatrics .9 FTE (12 hour/nights)
Unit Overview: Join our dynamic 25-bed General Surgical/Women’s Health/Pediatric Unit (4SW) at ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital. We provide comprehensive care to patients across the lifespan, from infants to geriatrics, undergoing a variety of surgical procedures, including gynecological, vascular, urological, and gastrointestinal surgeries. Our pediatric services address conditions such as dehydration, respiratory illnesses, orthopedic injuries, and general surgeries. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-reliability care, ensuring patients have a positive and memorable experience.
Schedule Details: 12 Hour Nights (1900-0730) with weekend and holiday rotation
What You Will Do:
As a Registered Nurse on 4SW, you will integrate theoretical knowledge with clinical experience to provide patient- and family-centered care. You will utilize a systematic approach to practice, demonstrating proficiency in technical skills and clinical judgment. Responsibilities include supervising and directing delegated nursing acts in accordance with your educational preparation and demonstrated abilities.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain it upon hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the AHA or the abillity to obtain during orientation. NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification or ability to obtain upon hire. Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS) certification from the American Heart Association or ability to obtain upon hire.Why Join ProHealth Care?
