Saint Luke’s GI Clinic at our South location in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our gastroenterology team. As an RN on this team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with members of a care team to provide professional nursing care for clinic patients. Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.KS & MO RN License requiredBLS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross requiredThe Work:
Responsible for telephone triage, patient flow, and coordination of patient careSchedules emergent need patient appointmentsIdentifies learning needs for patients and families, provides advice and recommendations, and inserts intravenous access with medication administration.Delegates tasks to clinical staff in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of PracticeEnters admission orders as directed by providerManages expired samples.May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties, LPN job duties, or other office duties as neededPosition may travel to other locations as needed.
