InPatient Surgical Post Op Unit 

Term: 12 week contract

Shift: Days

As a Registered Nurse at, Santa Rosa Medical Center, you’ll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients. 

Requirements:

Current/Active RN licenseAssociates Degree in Nursing, Bachelors preferredBLS through ARC or AHA required prior to hirePrior/current clinical experience required. Minimum 36 hours per week based on unit needs

Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements, and documents nursing careAssists physicians during examinations and proceduresPerforms various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nursePromotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills 21Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
