 At Saint Mary’s Hospital OB7 is a 23-bed unit that provides care for various types of surgeries pre and post operatively. Surgical procedures include but not limited to bariatric, orthopedic, ortho-trauma, neuro-spine, mastectomies, urological, gynecological, and gastroenterology surgeries.

What you will do

In this Registered Nurse RN role, you will monitor, record, and respond to patients’ clinical status. Assisting exceptional care for patients who require a stay overnight or longer after surgeries.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program.  BSN graduates preferred.Licensure: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.Certification: BLS required.

Work Schedule:  Full time – 36 hours – Nights

Face paced environment.Patients on this unit are cared for by a multi-disciplinary team that also includes Rehab staff.Dedicated and specialized team of RNs, LPNs, and PCAs working together with the hospitalist and specialty providers.OB7 can work together within a team atmosphere in the management of numerous workflows.
