Responsibilities The RN Staff Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population in order to achieve desired outcomes. This position directs and oversees the care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination. This position effectively coordinates patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services. The RN Staff Nurse reports to the Nurse Manager. Qualifications Job Requirements: Registered Nurse (RN) with New Jersey Board of Nursing or RN Multistate License from the NCL required. Graduate of a NLN/AACN accredited program in nursing Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC) required. Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification (NRP) required. 1-2 years Labor and Delivery nursing experience required Preferred Job Requirements: OB nursing certification preferred. EFM certification preferred.
