Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking a part time (1x12 hour shifts/week) day/night rotation shift RN for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Prior NICU RN experience is strongly desired. 

Inova Alexandria Hospital (IAH) offers a newly renovated, 16-bed, Level III NICU. Newborns who are premature or have special needs are well care for around the clock in out centered NICU by specially trained, board-certified neonatologists as well as specialized nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists and nutritionists.

Job requirements

A minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.  Strongly prefer 1 year or more of NICU experience. 

Education:

BSN from an accredited school of nursing.

If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 24 months of start date. BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required from American Heart Association (AHA)

RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN
