Overview

Gentiva Hospice is looking for a Full-Time Registered Nurse – On Call to join our team in Jackson, OH!

Schedule: 7 Days On - 7 Days Off

Weekdays afterhours (5pm - 8am) and weekends (Friday at 5pm to Monday at 8am), then OFF FOR 7 DAYS!

Reports directly to the Administrator, Executive Director or Patient Care Manager Senior and will maintain primary control and professional management of each patient. You will act as primary liaison between physician, patient/family and hospice team.

 

Provide direct patient care services to hospice patients and supportive care to the patient’s family after normal business hours on an on-call basisManage an interdisciplinary group consisting of Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants and support staff to enhance the quality of hospice careEvaluate patient/family needs and assist in the preparation and execution of the plan of care for each patientMaintain all assigned patient clinical recordsParticipate in company quality assessment and performance improvement programs
