The Beverly PACU consists of 15 PACU bays, 10 Pre-op holding bays, and 6 Surgical Day Care bays. Beverly Hospital, located in Beverly Massachusetts is part of the Lahey Health System. We provide a wide range of specialties including; orthopedics, GYN, general, vascular, thoracic, spine, pediatrics, cystoscopy, and ENT. The Peri anesthesia Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe patient care for patients before and after operative and other invasive procedures. As a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Perianesthesia Team, you will be responsible for the following: + Complete assessments, administer medications/treatment, observe patient’s progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness + Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care plan for each patient + Support and educate patients and their families to achieve maximum outcomes + Follows guidelines of perianesthesia practice through recommendations of The American Society of Perianesthesia Nurses (ASPAN) **Scheduled Hours** : 36 hours per week, rotating shift Weekend/night/holiday call rotation required. Potential rotation to Danvers Outpatient Surgery Center Required Qualifications: + Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred + Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts + BLS/ACL/PALS required + At least 1-2 years of work experience in a PACU, Critical Care, or ER preferred **As a health care organization, we have a responsibility to do everything in our power to care for and protect our patients, our colleagues and our communities.
