Crouse’s Physician’s Office Building Surgery team is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical expertise and care for patients and their caregivers in order to plan and deliver treatment in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
Pay Range: $33.00 - $47.86/hour.
up to $20,000 sign-on bonus for experienced RNs !
Available Schedule(s):
+ Full Time: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
+ Part Time: 24 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
Registered Nurse (RN) Position Responsibilities:
+ Provides professional judgment and knowledge of roles as it pertains to the Crouse Hospital Professional Nursing Practice Model.
+ Carries out duties and responsibilities per legal requirements under the Registered Nurse Scope of Practice, with emphasis on leading a culture of safe care.
+ Responsible for all activities requiring assessment, planning, diagnosing, evaluating, judgment, problem-solving, creating and implementing the plan of care.
+ Provides appropriate education to patients and families to promote health, facilitate rehabilitation and maintain wellness. Evaluates effectiveness and revises as appropriate.
+ Monitors and evaluates patient responses to treatment/plan of care during hospital stay.
+ Utilizes and engages in evidence-based practice to deliver quality patient care.
+ Demonstrates characteristics and skills that promote critical thinking in clinical problem-solving situations.
Registered Nurse (RN) Position Requirements:
+ Must have a current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
+ Graduate from an accredited nursing degree program required.
+ Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing preferred.
+ For RNs licensed in or after 2017, completion of a Bachelor’s of Nursing Degree will be required within 8 years of the date the license was obtained.
+ One (1) year Operating Room or Surgical Nursing expereince.
+ Certification in a specialty area preferred.
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) must be obtained within six (6) months of the hire date.
