Job Details

We are currently hiring for a RN to work 36 hours per week to support the Day/Evening/Midnight shifts working with the Radiology Nursing group in the IR/MRI area. While you will mainly be at the Christiana Hospital, there is rotation to the Wilmington Hospital. Weekends, holidays and On Call required as per department guidelines. (possible shift lengths – 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts)

The scope of services on the Radiology Care Unit (RCU) encompasses a variety of diagnoses/ testing including, but not limited to, paracentesis, CT guided biopsies, Fluoro guided LP/myelograms, US guided biopsies, CT guided drain placement including monitoring and recovery of general anesthesia and moderate sedation.

Requirements:

BSN required; or commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hireBLS and ACLS requiredAt least two years of experience in acute care (prefer Critical Care, Stepdown, ED or PACU areas)PALS preferred – must get within 6 monthsIV Certified preferredModerate sedation experience preferred
