Average length of stay is 10 days. This is a voluntary, restraint free unit which is licensed by **DPH.** It is not considered a mental health unit licensed by DMH. **Scheduled Hours: Per Diem** + medical and psychiatric evaluation + pharmacologic assessment + patient and family education + physical rehabilitation + group and individual therapy + nutritional assessments + supportive case management The Senior Adult Unit is an **ACE** (Acute Care of the Elderly) program which aims to improve clinical outcomes by providing multidisciplinary care in a safe and comfortable environment. The SAU team' is trained in the specialized care of the elderly. The unit serves as the hub of Beverly & Addison Gilbert's Hospitals (members of Beth Israel Lahey Health) NICHE Exemplar recognized program. **Qualifications** + Graduated of an accredited school of nursing + Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse licenser + BSN preferred + BCLS required **As a health care organization, we have a responsibility to do everything in our power to care for and protect our patients, our colleagues and our communities.
