Nursing departments on an assigned shiftin accordance with nursing standards and practices as well as current Federal State and local standards guidelines and regulationsThis position ensures the appropriate delivery of direct and indirect patient care and creates a positive environment for the professional practice of nursingThis position provides leadership for Natchaug Hospital departments in the absence of the unit manager director or administrationKey ResponsibilitiesServes as the point person in collaboration with the CLC for admissions internal and external patient transfersActs as a facilitator and decision maker for placement of all admissions and interintra facility transfers Contributes to the efficient operation of the unit by establishing priorities eliminating impediments
