The Registered Nurse (RN) Team Supervisor provides supervision to field and clinical staff in the delivery of effective, safe and coordinated care in accordance with agency policy and procedures, Medicare and Maryland regulations while ensuring accuracy and consistency of clinical documentation. Supports and mentors Home Health Visiting clinicians and field staff.

As a Home Registered Nurse (RN) Team Supervisor, you will:
• Support visiting staff through mentoring, continuing education and administrative support.
• Perform performance improvement functions to meet State, Federal and Accreditation requirements.
• Conduct ongoing quality audits by using SHP to monitor OASIS accuracy, participates in interdisciplinary case conferences and problem cases conferences with staff, and serves on agency committees.
• Assist scheduler to maintain productivity for visiting staff. Works with visiting staff to prevent LUPA episodes, utilize supplies and visits efficiently.
• Assists Insurance Coordinators in obtaining current updates for visit authorization.
• Educates clinical staff related to updates and changes for EMR and other key knowledge areas.
• Advise staff on holistic approach to healthcare to ensure appropriate uses of MSW and Chaplain.
• Assists with orientation of new staff and maintain low turnover rate.
• Supports and mentors visiting Home Health clinicians
• Cross covers workflow assignments across branches to accommodate supervisor vacations, sick-days, and training.
• Educates clinical staff related to updates and changes for EMR and other key knowledge areas.
• Collaborates with Education Specialist and Branch Director to ensure new processes are implemented and standardized to meet clinical staff expectations and requirements.
• Makes recommendations for areas of improvement when reviewing workflow effectiveness
• Serves as a subject matter expert related to questions from other Team Supervisors/staff with regard to back office workflow processes
• Functions as a subject matter expert related to HCHB functionality; providing education and knowledge, supporting daily work functions and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications include:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred or completion within 3 years of hire into the role or Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT) or Speech Therapy (ST)
• Current and Active Maryland RN PT/ OT or ST licensure
• 2 years’ full time experience in acute clinical, Medical/Surgical or facility within the past five years preferred
• 1 year Home Health experience within the past two years
• 1-2 years supervisory/management experience preferred
• Current and Active Maryland RN licensure
• Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR Certification
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance that meets AHC required limits

Work Schedule:

Full-time with occasional weekend coverage and holiday rotation

Pay Range:

$83,112.12 - $124,675.20

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount or if the position is Per Diem (offering a fixed rate), salary discussions will occur during the screening process.
