Trains new staff and coaches existing staff on the patient visit process. Assists physician or advanced practitioner during patient visit in accordance with age specific needs. Trains new staff and coaches existing staff on the proper process for assisting each provider. Monitors the skills of each staff member regarding the following: Assists the physician or advanced practitioner in all aspects of patient care and communication as instructed. Ensures that each staff member is diligent and thorough in the continuous care of the patient through accurate and timely completion of all encounters, labs, documents, etc. assigned to them. Maintains the exam rooms and work environment. Routinely monitors the clinic's exam rooms and work stations to ensure a safe and clean environment Assists with laboratory procedures. Monitors the staff on laboratory procedures to ensure accuracy and safety. Utilizes team-building, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills to maintain a positive and productive working environment for all of clinic staff. Qualifications Education Diploma or Associate’s degree (ADN) required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred. Experience Prefer experience in the clinic setting. Emergency room and hospital experience may be considered for this position (Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience) Licensure/Certification Current RN nursing license from the State of Oklahoma is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment. Compensation/Benefits $21.15-$34.55/hr depending on previous work experience.
