"Being a wound care nurse is a fulfilling experience. Enabling patients with the education to take care of their wound, which can sometimes be scary for them, is reward in itself. The unique situations we find ourselves in and overcome are fun to figure out. Watching patients heal and saying goodbye on their last visit is indescribable. We have a "mini celebration." The work is fun and the days go by quickly. I love being a wound care nurse!" - Monticello Wound Care RN -Amanda
