Your search is over – an RPN with Home Care Assistance is the job for you! We are seeking an RPN for a community client in Orillia. The shift is every Monday, 7:40am-3:40pm. The RPN is expected to accompany the client to school to monitor seizure activity. We are looking for casual staff that can commit to ongoing Monday shifts, as well as pick up additional shifts as needed with this client or other clients.  Job Benefits: + Competitive pay at $35/hr + Benefits Plan available after working 30+ hours per week*  + 4% Vacation Pay on every pay + Flexible hours The successful candidate’s areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, the following: + Conducting assessments and reassessments + Developing, monitoring, and updating plans of care, as assigned + Providing medication support and administration + Responding to all emergency situations + Completing reports and communicating with the family about any changes in care + Meeting the Standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario at all times + All other duties, as assigned Key qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to: + Current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario  + Valid First Aid/CPR certificate  + Vulnerable sector screen and satisfactory professional references + Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions + G-tube experience, med resistive and reactive, comfortable with managing seizures + Must have a valid license and reliable vehicle + Willingness to adjust to a scent-free lifestyle due to scents triggering seizure activity + Effective time management skills to work under specified time constraints and in accordance with job routines, while observing policies and procedures as well as applicable work standards and safety regulations Please submit the appropriate documents for review.  Questions?
