As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will work alongside our team of world-class caregivers to deliver a safe and comfortable experience during a patient's stay. You will provide assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies. **A caregiver in this position works days, from 6:30am-7:00pm, with rotating weekend and holiday requirements.** A caregiver who excels in this role: + Has strong critical thinking skills and can work under minimum supervision. + Can demonstrate decisive judgement in stressful situations. + Shows strong communication skills. + Shows empathy and compassion in a patient-centered environment. **Minimum requirements for this role include:** + Associate's degree + Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. + Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) Board licensure + Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentialing through the National Board for Respiratory Care + Basic Life Support (BLS) credentialing through the American Heart Association (AHA). **Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:** + Minimum 1 year experience in critical care. + Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care. + Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Neonatal Pediatric Specialist (NPS) certification. + Skills: active listening, collaboration, adaptability, critical thinking, accountability, independent working and receptive to feedback.
