+ DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION + Performs various technical duties to administer complex cardio-pulmonary care treatments to patients according to the physicians verbal or written orders. + POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.) + Experience: + At least one year experience preferred working in the respiratory therapy field. + Education and Training: + High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. + Associates and/or Bachelors degree preferred. + Completion of accredited Respiratory Therapy Program. + License, Certification & Registration: + MARTL - MA Respiratory Therapist license + NBRC-RRT- National Board Respiratory Care RRT + CPR. + ACLS preferred. + Other Requirements: + Ability to cross train in the Cardio side of department ie: EKG, Stress tests, Holter Monitors, Event Monitors and EEGs. + Ability to follow the AARC guidelines.
