Principal Accountabilities:

Provides respiratory care to patients as ordered by physician and according to established standards and practices.

Evaluates prescription, checks patient information to assess patient condition and determine requirements for treatment, and order processing Knowledge regarding homecare services CPAP/VPAP set ups in the office Sets up and educates patient on how to operates devices and utilize equipment such as CPAP/VPAP machines, humidifier, masks, hoses/tubing, etc. Observes equipment function and adjusts equipment to obtain optimum results to therapy.  Facilitates services for home care patients such as O2 orders, nebulizer orders and CPAP orders. Monitors and Maintains adequate levels of supplies. Reviews and responds to patient requests via phone calls, in basket and my chart messaging. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Customer Service Focused Good organizational, prioritization and critical thinking skills. Maintains medical records and documentation in accordance with all HIPAA laws and regulations. Assists in the performance of diagnostic testing by performing pulmonary function tests to be used by physician in diagnosis of case. Other duties as assigned.
