Summary

The Respiratory Care Practitioner provides respiratory care to patients.
The Respiratory Care Practitioner completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.

The Respiratory Care Practitioner performs all aspects of respiratory care to include diagnostic test of the cardio-pulmonary system

The Respiratory Care Practitioner performs quality control on all respiratory care equipment to include I-STAT blood g

Qualifications

Education

Required: graduate of an AMA accredited respiratory care program.

Certifications

Required: Possession of current State of Texas License/RRT; BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
Preferred: RRT / Registered Respiratory Therapist
