CVP subsidiary Titan-Auxo, LLC is seeking Registered Respiratory Therapists to join our team in providing care to our Nation's Veterans at the VA Long Beach Healthcare System in Long Beach, CA, located at 5901 E. 7th Street, Long Beach, CA 90822. This is an excellent opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and contribute to the health and well-being of our veterans.

Responsibilities Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders.Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, chest physiotherapy, mechanical ventilation, and others as prescribed by physicians.Provide out of-operating room intubation servicesMonitor and evaluate patient responses to treatment, including vital signs, arterial blood gases, and blood chemistry changes using data acquired through observation and clinical analysis.Manage mechanical ventilators and artificial airways.Perform and evaluate diagnostic tests, such as pulmonary function tests.Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and modify patient care plans.Transport and monitor the patients in specialty areas; i.e., CT scan, X-ray, bronchoscopy, etc., as demonstrated by documentationMaintain and troubleshoot at the operator's level, all respiratory equipment assigned, and reporting, if warranted, such equipment inoperable, using the established procedureEducate patients and their families about lung health and breathing treatments.Respond to emergency situations and code blues as part of the rapid response team.Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in the VA's electronic health record system.Ensure compliance with all VA policies, procedures, and safety standards.Participate in continuing education and stay current with advancements in respiratory care. Qualifications Must be a U.S. citizen eligible to work for the federal government.Associate's or Bachelor's degree from a respiratory therapy program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in any U.S. state or territory.Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, preferably in a hospital setting.Experience with mechanical ventilation, arterial blood gas analysis, and pulmonary function testing.Familiarity with electronic health record systems.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergency situations.

Shift

Full-time positions available. Shifts may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to provide 24/7 coverage.
