Performs a variety of highly skilled technical procedures in the application of diagnostic ultrasound for the imaging of normal and abnormal structures of the human body. Provides care and services to patients of all ages.

Applies knowledge of growth and development to appropriately care for all patients served. Operates highly specialized, technical equipment to obtain quality images according to IAC standards. Performs duties associated with processing patients, which may include scheduling, registration, file management and computer processing skills. Evaluates, positions and observes patients with a high degree of professional ethics, care, courtesy, patients and safety. Complies with all CHS and Echo/Vascular policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines. Participates in the training of students and staff as assigned. Maintains ARDMS registry by obtaining required CEU's bi-annually. Enhances personal and professional growth through participation in educational opportunities. What We Require:
Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Graduate of approved School of Ultrasound or equivalent training.
Experience: Two years of echo experience preferred with experience in vascular ultrasound also preferred.
Licensure, certification, and/or registration: RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) and additional registry in RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) strongly preferred and required within 2 years.
Life Support: AHA BLS required
Other: Good interpersonal and technical skills. Ability to multi-task and be flexible with assignments.
