A clinically competent, registered, professional Sonographer who delivers care to the patient by performing a variety of procedures utilizing all aspects of the equipment.Will possess knowledge of accepted ultrasound principals and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served (i.e. Neonates to geriatric).Will provide patient care in accordance with MVRMC policies and procedures. Expected to provide a positive image of MVRMC and to be able to communicate effectively with patients, peers, physicians and visitors.MountainView Regional Medical Center is your community healthcare provider. We are a 168-bed facility, accredited by The Joint Commission, that provides a broad range of healthcare services, including inpatient and outpatient care, diagnostic imaging and emergency, medical and surgical care.
Education:
Required: Graduate of Certified School of Sonography
Experience:
Required: One (1) year experience in hospital environment
Licenses/Certificates:
Required: Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) - due by close of business on the last day of the month after 6 months of work
Required: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
Required: Current license to practice as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in the State of New Mexico
Required: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) - Due by close of business on the last day of the month after two full months of work
