We are an AAHA accredited hospital that provides the highest quality client and patient care, utilizing fear free techniques to create a low-stress atmosphere. We are a full service hospital, providing boarding, bathing and grooming.

We have been providing high quality patient care in Irvine for over 40 years, enriching and protecting the special relationship between pets and their people. Our energetic and passionate team includes 2 veterinarians and a fantastic support team. We will be adding another veterinarian at the end of April and plan to add another at the end of summer. We are well equipped with ultrasound, laser therapy, digital radiography, including digital dental radiography, and the most advanced patient monitoring tools; and we offer a positive, team-oriented work environment.

We are searching for experienced RVTs or Veterinary Assistants with outstanding skills with pets and people - knowledgeable about veterinary medicine, and a comfort for developing relationships with all team members and clients.

Skills you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:

Patient Assessment – Differentiating routine cases from urgent & emergency casesAnticipating the needs of the veterinarianCompleting patient treatments in a timely mannerVenipuncture & IV Catheter placementRadiologyPharmacySurgical PreparationAnesthetic MonitoringDentistry including extractions (licensed technicians only)Patient RecoveryMaintaining electronic medical records with accurate & detailed dataClient communication & educationProviding compassionate care and a home away from home for all pets in the hospitalHospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring the hospital is neat and clean at all times – both inside and outside

We are open 7 days a week. This position does require the ability to work at least 1 weekend day each week. The shifts are 4 days at 10-hours each. Salary $20-28 based on experience.
