At VCA Sugar Grove Animal Hospital, we are dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of pets through comprehensive, quality care. Our team is passionate about providing exceptional veterinary services and educating clients to support lifelong health for their companions.

Key Responsibilities:Support veterinarians in all aspects of patient care, including exams, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures.Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed.Perform laboratory tests, radiographs, and other diagnostics using advanced technology.Monitor patients under anesthesia and assist with recovery.Educate and involve clients in their pet's health care plans, ensuring they understand procedures and aftercare.Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.Collaborate with a team committed to delivering exceptional client and patient experiences.

Schedule: Full-time opportunities, 4 x 10 hour shifts.

Qualifications 

A Veterinary Technology (CVT, LVT, LVMT, RVT)) degree, from an accredited CVTEA-AVMA educational institution Licensure in good standing to practice in (state), or the ability to obtain 

A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
