Position Requirements:
A. Licensure/Certification/Registration: CPAR Preferred
B. Education: High school diploma required; two years of college or prescribed course of study in business or healthcare field preferred; Spanish speaking preferred.
Experience: One to two years’ experience in health care environment or customer relations required.

Experience in automated systemsKnowledge of third party payersKnowledge of basic medical terminologyAbility to type 40 w.p.m.Excellent customer service skillsProblem solving skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyKnowledge of general hospital policies and procedures especially those concerning patient access including legal and regulatory requirements relative to providing health care services.Degree of Supervision Required: Performs complex, responsible, coordinated and evaluative functions under general, direct and periodic supervision of the department manager. Must be capable of working as part of a team.
