LKMC is also proud to be the only hospital in the Florida Keys that offers labor and delivery services. We also offer physical therapy in Key West using a multi-joint strength system, in addition to other innovative systems and equipment for customized rehabilitation.

LKMC is fully accredited by the State of Florida and the gold standard, The Joint Commission.

What Does a Registrar Do? As a Registrar with Lower Keys Medical Center, you will spend your day…

Registering patients and processes related paperwork.You will also spend your day interviewing patients, preparing standard registration forms, and performing other admission or transfer related tasks.Also you may be expected to perform clerical and secretarial work. You will rely on your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, while performing a variety of tasks.Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager.A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

A high school diploma or its equivalent.2 years of experience in the field or in the related area, is preferred but not required.Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within this field.
