The J. Walter Wood Treatment Facility is in the capital city of Alabama. It features 24 dormitory sites and is adjacent to a year-round educational institution in collaboration with the Montgomery County Board of Education.  

Pay: Starting Hourly Rate is $18.

What you will do: The Paraprofessional works as a staff member of the Education Department team.  Primarily responsible for supporting the school office by managing school information and student records.  The School Registrar reports to the Principal.

To be considered you should: Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect.  Establishes the school office as a responsive and effective administrative unit to the site, external agencies and parents/guardians and establishes and maintains office and organizational procedures for the school office to ensure effective school operations and administrative support.  At least 3 years of experience working in an office environment.  Be at least 21 years of age.  Have a desire to work with at-risk youth.  Be able to pass a criminal background check, child abuse registry, drug screen, physical, and TB test.

Schedule: 3 days on 4 days off, 24 hours per week. Monday-Friday, however schedule may vary or be adjusted due to business demand or unforeseen circumstances.
