Create a patient/case record in the ADT registration system in accordance with established policy and procedures for inpatient services. 2. Obtain and verify patient demographic, guarantor and insurance information for new or established patients in accordance with departmental protocols and enter this information into the ADT systemper departmental protocol. Register the patient in the assigned bed through the electronic medical record system. 3. Ensure all self-pay accounts are referred to the Medicaid Eligibility Unit to ascertain eligibility status in accordance with policy and procedure 4. Assist in other Patient Intake Department projects as needed and as directed by management 5. Other duties as assigned by management. **ED** 1. Welcome patients/visitors to the facility and round routinely to support communication and comfort measures. 2. Arrive patients into the central log upon initial presentation in accordance with departmental policy. 3. Assist with registration in the electronic medical record where appropriate after medical screening exam (MSE) in accordance with departmental policy. 4. Assist with answering the primary department phone line and relaying calls appropriately. 5. Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** **Required Education:** + High School Education or Equivalent **Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:** + Basic Computer Skills **Preferred Qualifications:** + Hospital or Health Care Setting **Pay Range** $14.78 - $20.33 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
