Summary
Independently performs a variety of academic and administrative duties under the direction of the Dean. Maintains accurate record-keeping in keeping with established best practices, including the issuance of transcripts and the release of official student data. Conducts course registration for all students. Ensures that school flyers, catalog/handbook, webpage, and other publications are updated as needed. Works with Accreditation Specialist to collect and compile accreditation data and preparation and submission of accreditation reports. Performs other related duties as assigned by the Dean.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Supports and promotes the mission and values of Covenant Health Ministry.
+ Collects data and processes student transcripts, academic progression, accreditation and other reports.
+ Reviews applicants’ previous transcripts for courses that can be transferred into the program, refers any concerns to the appropriate faculty, and notifies the Dean of any problems.
+ Conducts course registration for all students.
+ Processes student withdrawals and LOAs.
+ Tracks and helps to process contract renewals.
+ Compose and process correspondence, minutes, and other documents as requested including student letters.
+ Schedules and reserves rooms within the school.
+ Administers Sonis, student database, including assisting faculty with orientation to the system. Assists users with computer concerns and operation of audio-visual equipment as able.
+ Ensures that school flyers, catalog/handbook, webpage, and other publications are updated as needed.
+ Does not need Epic access.
+ Other duties as consistent with this role.

Job Knowledge and Skills
+ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to learn additional software
+ High degree of confidentiality
+ Ability to organize work and set priorities
+ Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Education and Experience
+ Minimum of Associate of Science degree in administration, education, or related area
+ Three years of experience in an educational setting
An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with this position that involves a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching. Occasional lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs. Some stress related to high level of responsibility for quality care.
