Job Overview:

Reporting to the Dean of Enrollment Management the Registrar will provide leadership to plan, organize and manage all of the activities related to the Records and Registration areas, including maintaining and ensuring the quality and integrity of academic records and serving as the official FERPA compliance officer. The Registrar is the authorized keeper of the college’s academic records.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Education; or related field
Background in records 
Registration 
Ensuring stability and functionality of the information system in the Office of the Registrar
1-2 years experience in Registrar’s Office or Financial Aid Office

Job Responsibilities:

Manages and maintains academic records. Collects and reports grades. Ensures computer security, data integrity and monitors access to student records and information. Supports term end and graduation reporting. Provides student academic reports - DeanGÇÖs List, Graduation, Honors, Probation, Withdrawal and Dismissal Lists. Enforces state and federal laws on record management, privacy and directory information. Maintains record systems in compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
Oversees Enrollment Services data systems. Provides enrollment and other statistical reports to the Dean; Notifies students on transfer credit issues. Processes withdrawals/dismissals and official Leave of Absence from college. Generates academic calendars
Conducts registration and post-registration systems efficiently and effectively. Administers class registration and scheduling, including add/drop and course withdrawals. Develops and maintains course publications; Generates electronic class rosters. Manages wait lists for courses.
Implements on-line processing and web based technology. Supports ad-hoc requests for student information. Modifies and/or develops applications to meet requests. Supports adhoc requests for report design/development. Develops and implements data based procedures Collaborates with IT Administrator to maintain integrity of the data system.
Supports the college in meeting operational goals. Supports department as well as Enrollment Management goals and assists in meeting those goals. Provides opportunities for student learning and ways to measure that learning. Actively participates in the Institutional Assessment and Enrollment Management Assessment goals. Attends College Assembly, college committee meetings and department meetings. Participates in professional development through the college and professional organizations.
