The Patient Access Lead is responsible for providing feedback on daily registration processes and staffing issues to the director. The Lead provides assistance to staff level employees as necessary to ensure compliance with department policies and procedures. The Lead also assists supervisor with training, staffing, report reconciliation, QA process, and other duties as assigned. The Lead functions as a working registrar and performs all registration duties as required.

Education: Post High School vocational/Specialized Training preferred.

Experience:  Must have at least one year of experience in Admissions. Prior admissions, customer service and/or public relations experience preferred. Medical terminology, data entry, and clerical skills required.

License/Certification:  CHAA certification preferred.
