The Office of Events is a growing department whose primary function is to assure the events hosted by Utah State University, "Exceed Expectations". The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Registration Coordinator in all aspects of event and conference registration. Hours: Monday-Friday, between 8:00 am-5:00 pm. May include some evening and weekend hours as needed with prior notification. Weekly hours will be between 10 to 28 hours. The work schedule will be determined on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities Assist the Registration Coordinator in all aspects of event and conference registrationEnter registrations into database from phone calls, emails, facsimile, and mail notificationsProcess payments following the department cash handling procedures; some collection responsibilitiesAnswer phone calls and respond to e-mailsProcess registration requests from Program CoordinatorsName badge set-up, printing and preparation, and attendee check-inTravel as neededOther duties as needed QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
One year customer service and office experienceProficient use of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, and ability to learn new software programsWilling to go above and beyond for customer satisfactionTyping speed of 45+ with accuracyPreference given for previous USU experienceKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
