Tipton Hospital. Hours are between 6a-6p with an every other weekend rotation, 40hr per week.
Come join our team! We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our amazing team at Tipton Hospital! This entry-level role serves as the first point of contact for the patients entering the hospital. To be successful in this position, you must be dependable and consistent in your attendance and timeliness. Medical office or hospital registration experience is strongly preferred but not required.
The ideal candidate must possess the following skills:
1. The ability to multi-task and utilize multiple screens and programs.
2. Exceptional values-based customer service skills
3. The ability to work independently.
4. Strong communication skills This position is responsible for the delivery of customer facing services within Revenue Cycle System Services. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, scheduling, registration, insurance verification, prior-authorization, financial counseling/individual solutions, cashiering, release of information and customer service. Position adheres to departmental productivity, quality, and service standards in support of operational goals.
•At least one year of experience in hospital or physician Revenue Cycle strongly preferred.
• Requires working knowledge of patient registration and financial clearance.
• Requires a high level of interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Requires effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Requires the ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships.
• Requires the ability to take initiative and meet objectives.
