Registration Services, Senior Associate will be responsible for the trade documents preparation, review, audit support and client service. They will participate in various projects both client facing and internal

What you will be responsible for

As Registration Services Senior Associate, you will:

Complete subscription, redemptions, transfer forms and other fund of funds investment related documentsReview and assist staff with month-end fund of funds trading, review trade packages and assist in resolving trade package related queries, audits and other ad hoc financial reports as required.Deliver services in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and ensure that assigned work is performed to meet internal standardsResolve routine problems using own initiative and escalate complex issues as neededConduct self-review for completed activities and review completed activities for A1sMaintain relevant documentation for assigned activitiesPerform research and resolution on exception items; escalate unresolved issues to management as neededProactively share new ideas to support process improvement and changes to team processesRecord KPI informationEmbrace system and process changes and implement as directedBuild and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues in all locationsCommunicate effectively with others and seek clarifications where requiredDemonstrate progression of process knowledge and understanding of all relevant functional activities in the teamMaintain professional integrity when dealing with clients and internal business partnersPrimary operational day to day contact for clients as requiredBuild and maintain functional and technical knowledge across disciplines to enable handling the majority of client inquiries at the point of contactSupport client service delivery for operational and risk activitiesSupport onboarding, conversion and client change activitiesSupport inter-departmental processing and client servicing activities to ensure client satisfaction is met through adherence to SLAsManage own development by engaging in the PPR process, seeking feedback from others and by attending mandated and relevant trainingIdentify and report all risk and compliance issues, breaches and suspicious activitiesAct in accordance with Risk Excellence as part of our Way Ahead foundationPerform other duties as required

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Proficient with a Bachelor’s degree2-4 years of related experience in transfer agency, fund of funds or fund accounting.Proficient in email management and Knowledge of Private Equity funds would be an asset

Additional requirements

Knowledge of Hedge Fund Products including Fund of Hedge FundsExposure to hedge fund audits, Fund of Funds trading process, pricing, corporate action, cash/position reconciliations ,side-pockets, and fee calculationFund of Funds trading documents such as subscription document, redemption document and transfers forms knowledge is an advantageKnowledge of Private Equity funds would be an assetStrong fund of funds trading documents knowledge a plus especially subscription, redemptions, transfers, proxy, corporate actionStrong understanding of Transfer Agency, Custody and Regulatory background to Funds Industry.
