Job Highlights:This Opportunity:The primary responsibilities of the Registration Coordinator are registering new individuals and updating established individuals information in agency's electronic medical record. Perform a variety of administrative tasks to ensure that individaul's demographic, financial and mandated information is accurate based on available information, while providing individual and/or family members with required regulatory informational documents regarding their visit or admission.What You'll Do:Processes paperwork for new clients efficiently and in accordance with protocols.
Enter and update new and established individuals information in electronic health record, verify insurance coverage, obtain authorizations as needed, and collect co-pays.
Collect appropriate copays and payments on accounts, coordinating with billing department on collections and balancing payments as needed.
Adhere to established procedures for appointment scheduling, registration, and data entry in electronic health record for patients. 5. Manage telephone, fax, and e-mail requests in a timely and organized manner to ensure effective communication and excellent customer service.
Schedule assessment with person desiring supports/services and enter information into appropriate staff schedule.
Ensure appropriate notification is sent to the assessing staff as required.
Complete new and updated MCO enrollments for individuals to reflect accurate payor source to ensure payment recoupment.
Maintain trainings as required and requested.
Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and assist in crisis situations.
Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures.
Complete all other relevant responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Driving and travel may be required
