Description
We are seeking a seasoned SME to act as a Regulatory, Audit, Second Line (RASL) Response Expert. In this role, you will provide direction on how to respond to RASL requests, ensuring the appropriate scope and context. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial regulations and prior experience working with regulatory bodies. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders, drive optimal outcomes, and maintain RASL responses proactively in response to changing regulations, policies, controls, and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide expert direction on responding to RASL requests with the appropriate scope and lens.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure RASL responses meet regulatory expectations.
+ Understand the impact of changes in regulations, controls, frameworks, policies, and procedures, and keep responses updated.
+ Break down complex regulatory scenarios into clear, actionable stories.
+ Present RASL responses and updates to senior executives (VP, SVP, EVP, SEVP).
+ Navigate through a large organization to gather insights and align RASL responses.
+ Manage multiple initiatives, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
+ Stay updated on industry trends and financial regulations.
+ Work closely with various stakeholders to drive effective regulatory responses.

Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
+ Extensive experience in regulatory, audit, and second-line roles, with a focus on RASL.
+ Strong understanding of financial regulations and the ability to navigate regulatory frameworks.
+ Experience working with regulatory bodies and adapting to regulatory changes.
+ Strong storytelling skills to present complex regulatory scenarios in a clear and understandable manner.
+ Ability to work with senior executives (VP, SVP, EVP, SEVP) and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
+ Proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and drive optimal outcomes.
+ Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
+ Data-driven approach with a focus on facts and evidence in decision-making.
