We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Regulatory Advisor within our Rockies Stakeholder Relations group based in Denver, Colorado.
Essential Job Responsibilities\:
Develop and manage internal and external initiatives to reduce regulatory risk and enhance social license. Create multi-channel community engagement strategies designed to increase knowledge, foster exchange, and build relationships. Identify emerging trends and create plans to capture opportunities and minimize risk. Work with a wide variety of people and personalities, diffusing situations and accomplishing complex negotiations. Support in-person and virtual community meetings. Collaborate with teams to support permitting traditional oil and gas well locations and low-carbon technologies, including securing informed consent. Work with various teams and business units to resolve operation and production-related stakeholder issues. Assist in the preparation and execution of field tours and Oxy-sponsored events. Support to the Regulatory Permitting and Compliance teams, as needed.
Education\:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Political Science, Business, or a related field
Experience\:
