A Senior Regulatory Relations Analyst, brings regulatory subject matter expertise to the firm and works under minimal supervision of the Regulatory Affairs Manager. Helps with the daily functions of the Regulatory Affairs area to provide Regulatory Agencies with confidential coordination and collection of requested documentation, provides analytical and business management support, and other related regulatory coordination efforts required by and for the applicable Regulatory Agencies. Works collaboratively with legal, compliance and operational group areas to ensure required documentation is available.$73,635.80 -$95,713.54 - $117,801.27Pay Range: Local Minimum Wage - $0.00 - $0.00
Job Responsibilities:
Provide analytical and business management support to the Regulatory Affairs (RA) team related to examination preparation, key supervisory themes and other regulatory areas of importance.
Organize remediation action plans in accordance with applicable Executives and Business Units (BUs) to ensure timely delivery, tracking and completion.
Steer applicable regulatory meetings and ensure effective communication amongst participants along with coordinating the transfer of any requested deliverables.
Execute multiple projects and leverage shared central repositories to foster collaboration and maintain BU accountability.
Perform quality control reviews with an acute focus on details to ensure timely fulfillment and response in accordance with Departmental Procedures.
Uses independent judgement and discretion to make decisions.
Analyzes and resolves problems pertaining to regulatory documentation and communication.
ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Finance, Business, Legal, or related.
Minimum experience required: 5+ Years in a financial services company and/or in a bank regulatory or legal related role.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education level preferred: Master's Degree (or Postgraduate equivalent) in Finance, Business, Legal, or related
Experience preferably from a Regulatory Agency, including OCC and FRB, with specific knowledge of Large Bank Supervision and Enhanced Prudential Standards.
Job Competencies:
Knowledge of the fundamental concepts of bank regulations.
Knowledge of Standard office practices and procedures.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to work diligently under pressure and in a time sensitive environment without compromising work product integrity.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet established deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
