About the role

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in our Turkish operations? As a Regulatory Affairs Scientist, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance across all aspects of our business in Turkey.

 

This role is crucial as we embark on a significant project involving product transfers that will impact raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods. Your expertise will be key to navigating regulatory landscapes and supporting our strategic initiatives.

 

Key responsibilities Regulatory Activities Coordination: Oversee all regulatory activities for Turkey, ensuring compliance across all product lines. Interface Role: Act as the primary interface between Customer Sales, RDA, QA/Manufacturing, and the Global Kerry business for regulatory and compliance requirements. Customer Support: Provide active support to internal and external customers, ensuring efficient, accurate, and prompt responses to regulatory and documentation requirements. System and Team Optimization: Identify, implement, and maximize system and team resources for simplification and standardization in line with continuous improvement plans. Compliance Standards: Stay abreast of compliance standards for Turkey and relevant international regulations that may impact our operations. Regulatory Clearance: Manage regulatory clearance and compliance for food ingredients, taste, and nutrition products, serving as the focal point for information. Product Registration: Facilitate product registration with relevant regulatory bodies. Regulatory Assessment: Evaluate regulatory implications of product and process changes, making recommendations for approval or disapproval. Project Support: Responsible for regulatory aspects of product transfers, ensuring compliance and smooth transitions for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.

 

Qualifications and skills Preferably a Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related field. Preferably a minimum of 3 years in the food and nutrition industry in regulatory, QA, or RDA roles.  Good to have a proven track record success in regulatory submissions and influencing regulations/regulators. Ability to accurately analyze data, ensure compliance, and maintain documentation. Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and procedures. Ability to leverage internal and external resources effectively. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach. Fluent in English (both verbal and written).
