Regulatory Affairs Specialist
Great Regulatory Affairs opportunity to work with a leader in cosmetic and fragrance industry within Middlesex County! Job Description + Assist in the creation and update for new and existing products and ensure consistency of label with the master manufacturing formula and compliance with all applicable cosmetic supplement labeling regulations. + Accurately establish and implement all relevant information that must appear on a finished product label utilizing the correct format according to regulatory guidelines. + Review and approve or reject customer labels, make suggestions, if needed, to rectify any errors to ensure compliance with all pertinent labeling regulations. + Maintain and organize files for online and hard copy product label Master Copy book. + Implement the necessary changes to any existing finished product labels due to product reformulation or ingredient/supplier change. Hard Skills + 3-5 years of experience in the Cosmetic industry within Regulatory Affairs + Bachelors Degree in Bio, Chemistry, Food Science, Nutrition Science, or related Scientific Field + Experience with labeling, laboratory safety, SDS management and chemical manufacturing. Soft Skills + Familiar and passionate about Flavor industry regulatory guidelines and compliance + Function as a liaison amongst other internal departments such as QA to discuss Customer Regulatory needs and specifications Work Environment + Fully onsite but the company follows a 4-day work week Monday through Thursday! + The environment is collaborative and fosters a family-like culture.
